BEST USE OF THE ENGLISH
LANGUAGE IN A REVIEW
WINNER: Showgirls and The Care Bears Big
Wish Movie (TIE)

It looked like "but she dances like an angry epileptic"
was going to run away with this Binnie, but a late surge
for "Too Loud Bear, the
General Zod of the Careless
Bears" made this one a tie.
MOST UNINTENTIONALLY LAUGHABLE MOMENT
WINNER: Mega Shark jumps out of the ocean to eat a 747 (Mega Shark vs.
Giant Octopus)

For us here at The 'Bin, the "Gettin' married in two days" non sequitur completes the scene.
MOVIE YOU STILL CAN'T
BELIEVE IS A REAL MOVIE
WINNER: Mega Shark vs. Giant Octopus and
Poultrygeist: Night of the Chicken Dead (TIE)

One features two comically over-sized sea creatures
making periodic attacks on mankind.  The other features
chicken zombies.

Both movies really do exist.  USA!  USA!  USA!
You might be wondering, "Hey, did you skip one?"  Yes, we did.  There's one more Binnie to be
awarded, and it's a pretty notable one...
THE 2010 PATRON SAINT OF THE
BARGAIN BIN REVIEW
WINNER: STEVEN SEAGAL (Driven to Kill, Flight of Fury)
and THE GENERAL (title character in
The Cat) (TIE)

Okay, so the problem here (other than the fact that Steven Seagal
can't defeat a cat) is that the bylaws of the Binnies are very explicit
regarding this category:

"While a group or collective entity may be chosen as the Site's Patron
Saint, the title of Patron Saint of the Bargain Bin Review may not be
shared by two or more separate entities."

So there will be another vote to break the tie.  However, the bylaws
also state that all Binnie votes must contain at least
three nominees.

Here's where it gets interesting: The voting committee has been in
intense, closed door meetings since lunchtime Monday to discuss
who the third nominee should be.  Technically, it should go to the
next highest vote-getter, which would be Lorenzo Lamas.  But
between the lackluster support for Lamas and the overwhelming
number of votes collected by another player, a push was made to "let
the people's voice be heard"... and it was a movement that ultimately
won out.
So, without any further adieu, here are the NEW nominees for THE 2010 PATRON SAINT OF THE
