MOCKBUSTER (mahk-BUHS-tur): n. A film that shamelessly rips-off the title, look and/or
storyline of an upcoming big budget Hollywood film but made with a fraction of the
budget, usually piggypacking the Hollywood film's release date. Often referred to by
makers of mockbusters as a "tie-in" to the Hollwyood film they're ripping off.
