Talkin’ Shop
This has never actually happened to me, but apparently it’s happened to Jason at Invasion of the B-Movies on a couple of occasions: He rips a movie to shreds, then someone who worked on the shredded movie contacts him to 1) tell him he loved the review and 2) offer up an interview.
It’s hard for me to get my head around. I always figured that anyone attached to a film I just shredded who contacted me was coming for blood.
Anyway, this recently happened with Wiseguys vs. Zombies. I (perhaps too generously) reviewed this film a while ago and challenged Jason to review it. Jason didn’t like the movie so much.
But that didn’t stop producer/assistant director/actor Kevin Woods from coming out of the woodwork to get in touch with Invasion of the B-Movies. Jason was so kind as to allow me to include some questions for Mr. Woods. Such as:
You have two minutes to explain the “zombies forgo biting for backyard wresting” climax. Go.
